BUT WHO ARE YOU, JOCELYN?
A volcano ate my house when I was seven. This taught me: Life is absurd, and story is how we make meaning from the mayhem.
It’s also probably a big reason why I now thrive when the stakes are high. And love helping teams and leaders create and adapt to big changes. Using (ahem) the OG human superpower: Story. Because story is how our brains organize the past and imagine the future.
This work takes many shapes that might not be obvious at first, from strategic narrative advisory to designing immersive experiences like Death Dinner (just ask) and enterprise-wide behavioral change programs. I also got to lead narrative on a SuperBowl campaign, write a docuseries for CBS, and host a show with talent who went on to Colbert and Comedy Central.
Outside of my “day job,” you can find me dissecting cognitive warfare with a neuroscientist on MAD Warfare, a podcast that often explores the stories we fight for … and fall for.
Because the mayhem isn’t going anywhere. Might as well keep making sense of it.
